Karen Whittaker– Head of Organisational Development & Transformation, AGL Energy Karen Whittaker is a senior human resources manager with more than 20 years’ experience working for top ASX companies in the financial services and energy industries. With an early career in finance, Karen’s career path has been diverse, spanning operations, communications, mergers & acquisitions, employee relations, employment policy and diversity & inclusion. Karen joined AGL in 2010 to design and implement AGL’s diversity and inclusion strategy. Most recently she led the people stream supporting AGL’s acquisition and integration of the Macquarie Generation business. Karen was recently appointed to the Head of OD and P&C Organisational Transformation which encompasses culture, leadership and capability development, talent, diversity, people processes and systems and business partnering. Karen is a wife and mother of two children aged 9 and 13 and is a vocal champion for flexible work as an essential ingredient for a high performing, engaged workforce.

Wendy McInnes- Managing Director, Employee Research, ORC International Wendy is part of the Australian Senior Leadership Group and is a thought leader on employee research globally at ORC International. Wendy has over 15 years of research experience across various industries and specialisms and is currently the Managing Director of ORC International’s Employee Research division in Australia. Working with a range of high profile clients nationally and internationally, Wendy and her team help to identify how to better attract and keep talent through developing a culture of engaging employees across the lifecycle to improve business performance.
